Arizona Coyotes forward Jason Zucker has been suspended for three games by the NHL for boarding Florida Panthers forward Nick Cousins.
Zucker was given a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct for the play, and also received a major for fighting Florida defenseman Gustav Forsling after the hit.
The NHL called it a hit from behind on a defenseless player no longer in possession of the puck.
Zucker will forfeit $82,812.51 in salary due to the suspension.
Panthers coach Paul Maurice said Cousins is in the concussion protocol.
