Coyotes Identifying Options For New Arena After Failed Tempe Bid

The Arizona Coyotes are exploring multiple sites across the East Valley to build an arena and entertainment complex following a failed attempt in Tempe.
The sites under consideration are privately and publicly owned land in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Mesa, and on tribal land that municipalities might sell.
The team is avoiding any location that would require a public referendum after losing a vote in Tempe.
The Coyotes previously played in Phoenix and Glendale before pursuing a deal in Tempe and are currently playing at Mullett Arena on the Arizona State University campus.
The Coyotes have identified six potential locations for a new arena to host the team.
