  • Cal Fire reported the blaze at 624 acres with 5% containment as of Thursday morning near Coyoteville Lane and Cedar Creek Road in Somerset.
  • More than 1,250 firefighters are assigned, including engines, hand crews, dozers, air tankers, helicopters, and water tenders.
  • Evacuation warnings extend from Omo Ranch Road south to Farnham Ridge Road, and authorities advised using Mt. Aukum Road to leave the area.
  • Night-flying helicopters and ground crews tackled spot fires and a pocket of heavy timber while building and reinforcing control lines.
