Cowboys All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs out for season with torn ACL

Diggs suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during practice and will miss the rest of the 2023 season.
Diggs had already tallied an interception, three passes defended, and a forced fumble in the Cowboys' first two games this season.
The Cowboys signed Diggs to a five-year, $97 million contract extension before the start of this season.
Diggs has established himself as one of the NFL's top cornerbacks, leading the league in interceptions since entering in 2020.
With Diggs out, the Cowboys will look to Stephon Gilmore and rookies DaRon Bland and Jourdan Lewis to fill the void.
