Cowboys agree to 5-year, $97M extension with CB Trevon Diggs

The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a 5-year, $97 million contract extension with cornerback Trevon Diggs.
Diggs will receive a $21.25 million signing bonus and the deal could reach up to $104 million with incentives.
In 2021, Diggs led the NFL with 11 interceptions and earned first-team All-Pro honors.
The extension makes Diggs the second highest paid cornerback in average annual salary at $20.8 million.
The Cowboys have locked up Diggs long-term before his rookie contract expired to secure one of their young defensive stars.
