Courtney Williams to Join Lynx, Aerial Powers Heads to Dream, Aces Sign Stokes and Gustafson

In a flurry of WNBA moves, Williams leaves Chicago for Minnesota, Powers departs Lynx for Dream, and Las Vegas bolsters their championship roster with Stokes and Gustafson.

Courtney Williams, an unrestricted free agent, is set to sign a two-year deal with the Minnesota Lynx, after a standout season in Chicago where she averaged 10.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and a career-high 6.3 assists.
Unrestricted free agent Aerial Powers is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Atlanta Dream, after spending the past three seasons with the Minnesota Lynx.
The two-time defending champion Las Vegas Aces have reached deals with Kiah Stokes and Megan Gustafson, both of whom were unrestricted free agents.
Williams' previous stints in the league were with Connecticut (twice), Atlanta and Phoenix, while Powers won a WNBA championship in 2019 as an important bench player for the Washington Mystics.
The Aces, who became the first team to repeat as WNBA champions in over 20 years, had two-time MVP A'ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, Alysha Clark and Kierstan Bell all under contract heading into this offseason.
