Courteney Cox Officially Returning for 'Scream 7'

Courteney Cox has signed on to return as Gale Weathers in 'Scream 7,' continuing her streak as the only actor to appear in all seven films of the franchise.
Neve Campbell will also reprise her role as Sidney Prescott after resolving a previous salary dispute, marking her return following her absence from 'Scream VI.'
Kevin Williamson, the original screenwriter of the first 'Scream' film, will make his directorial debut with this installment, replacing Christopher Landon, who exited the project in 2023.
The film has faced production delays due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, cast changes, and creative overhauls, but is now set for a February 27, 2026, release date.
New cast members include Isabel May as Sidney Prescott’s daughter, alongside returning actor Mason Gooding and other newcomers such as Anna Camp and McKenna Grace.
