Court Dismisses Nexon's Preliminary Injunction Against Ironmace

Despite the dismissal, the main lawsuit over alleged copyright infringement and trade secret theft will proceed.

Nexon's preliminary injunction against Ironmace, the developer of Dark and Darker, has been dismissed by a South Korean court.
The court ruled that Dark and Darker cannot be viewed as infringing on Nexon's copyright or trade secrets.
Nexon originally filed a lawsuit against Ironmace in April 2023, accusing the studio of stealing the source code and assets of its unreleased Project P3.
Despite the dismissal of the preliminary injunction, the main lawsuit between Nexon and Ironmace will proceed.
Dark and Darker, which was delisted from Steam due to the lawsuit, may return to the store if Ironmace wins the legal fight.
