Overview
- The Costa Verde will close from 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 for cycling on the San Miguel–Chorrillos stretch.
- A second shutdown is scheduled from 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 for race walking between Barranco and Chorrillos.
- Official north–south detours send drivers via Costanera, Bertolotto, Armendáriz, San Martín and José Olaya, with south–north flows via Chorrillos, Miguel Grau, Reducto, José Pardo, Pérez Araníbar, Del Ejército and La Paz.
- Beach access ramps including Escardó, Bertolotto, Brasil, Marbella, San Martín, Balta and Armendáriz will be closed during the cycling window.
- Authorities report heavy congestion on parallel avenues and the National Police have deployed a traffic operation to ease delays.
