Overview
- Etlas is a 50:50 joint venture that combines Corteva’s seed genetics expertise with bp’s refining and commercial capabilities.
- Initial supply is planned for 2027 for co-processing in existing refineries as well as dedicated biorefineries.
- Feedstock will come from canola, mustard and sunflower grown as intermediate crops on current cropland, which the companies say can improve soil health and diversify farm income.
