• Andrew Porter of Asheville, N.C., and Ian Stasko of Salt Lake City, both 25, were identified as the victims found in Conejos County on Sept. 18.
• Search teams located the bodies about two miles above the Rio De Los Pinos trailhead in the South San Juan Wilderness after a nearly weeklong, multi-agency effort.
• Conejos County Coroner Richard Martin said the men were likely killed instantly by a ground or nearby strike, noting slight burn marks and no signs of foul play.
