• Area Coroner Katrina Hepburn recorded a short-form conclusion of unlawful killing, finding Edward Smith had the requisite intent to kill or cause really serious harm.
• Evidence showed he tracked Lisa Smith to The Three Horseshoes in Knockholt and blocked the Seat she was in before opening fire.
• Investigators outlined that two shots were fired from inside his car, a third through the driver’s window fatally damaged her neck, and a fourth was fired at close range on the passenger side.
• Ms Smith had traveled from Slough to Kent earlier that day after telling her sister she was leaving the marriage, and she died despite CPR at 19:42.
• After the shooting, Edward Smith (also known as Edvard Stockings) sent voice notes saying he had killed her and was later seen jumping from the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, with his own inquest scheduled to follow.
