Overview

• Police were called to reports of disorder at a Whiterow Park address at about 9:30pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
• A 39-year-old man was found in the rear garden and pronounced dead at the scene, and his next of kin have been informed.
• A 61-year-old from Trowbridge and a 46-year-old from Hilperton were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.
• The main cordon has been lifted, officers are still present, and police say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
• Forensic teams erected a tent and used 3D laser scanning to document the area, and detectives are appealing for witnesses, doorbell or dash-cam footage, and anonymous tips via Crimestoppers.
