Overview
- After a brief shutdown caused by a semi-truck fire, the Coquihalla Highway is open with warnings of sudden closures, no stopping in the fire zone, limited cellphone coverage and possible wildlife on the roadway.
- The Fraser Valley Regional District issued evacuation orders for Coquihalla Lakes Lodge and the Coquihalla Summit Snowmobile Club due to the Mine Creek fire.
- Cariboo Regional District and the Ulkatcho First Nation ordered residents around Anahim Lake, Nimpo Lake and Charlotte Lake to leave immediately via Highway 20 to Williams Lake for registration and support.
