As per Norwegian news agency NRK, officials from Oslo Airport confirmed that flight operations had been impacted due to the sighting.

  • Operations were halted at about 8:26 p.m. local time after police reported two to three large drones in the airport’s airspace.
  • The airfield reopened around 12:20 a.m. local time, and the airport warned of continuing delays and cancellations.
  • Flight-tracking data showed more than 35 inbound diversions to Billund, Aarhus, Aalborg, Malmö and Gothenburg.
  • Copenhagen Police reported no arrests linked to the incident and said the drones appeared larger than typical consumer models.
  • Separate drone activity was reported in Norway and Sweden, and Oslo police arrested two people for flying in a restricted area with no confirmed connection to Copenhagen.
