Overview
- The draw begins at 13:00 CET at the Spanish federation’s headquarters in Madrid.
- All 28 ties will be single-match fixtures scheduled for 2–4 December with lower-division teams at home.
- The RFEF is using regional pots to determine pairings, a format intended to cut travel and encourage local attendance.
- After knocking out Valladolid, Portugalete will be paired with a LaLiga opponent from a pot that includes Celta, Real Sociedad, Alavés, Osasuna, Mallorca, Espanyol and Girona.
- Valencia and Levante will be drawn against a non-professional opponent from the Segunda Federación if available—Atlético Antoniano, Real Ávila, Navalcarnero, Extremadura, Quintanar del Rey or Torrent—or otherwise from Primera RFEF clubs Cartagena, Murcia, Tenerife, Guadalajara, Talavera or Eldense.
