Overview
- In El Guasimal, Culiacán, authorities responding to a citizen tip found five people dead after a clash and detained nine others while securing 21 long guns, two machine guns, hundreds of magazines and three vehicles, two with armor.
- The Navy later detained seven alleged members of the Los Mayos faction near Culiacán and seized an armored pickup with an improvised turret, AK-47 and M4 rifles, an M60 machine gun and materials linked to improvised explosive devices, turning the case over to the FGR.
