  • In El Guasimal, Culiacán, authorities responding to a citizen tip found five people dead after a clash and detained nine others while securing 21 long guns, two machine guns, hundreds of magazines and three vehicles, two with armor.
  • The Navy later detained seven alleged members of the Los Mayos faction near Culiacán and seized an armored pickup with an improvised turret, AK-47 and M4 rifles, an M60 machine gun and materials linked to improvised explosive devices, turning the case over to the FGR.
  • An interagency operation in Campo El Diez, south of Culiacán, freed 20 adults allegedly held captive and seized an AR-15, a signal inhibitor, a stolen Hyundai Tucson, phones and marijuana; authorities reported no arrests at the site.
  • In Cancún, Quintana Roo, state police with Navy support detained Marcos Josué “N” and Ángel Roberto “N,” identified as alleged CJNG logistics operators, and confiscated 32 long guns, 12 handguns, 125 rifle magazines, grenades, silencers, drones, CJNG-branded gear and two vehicles.
  • Detainees and seized evidence in both states were placed at the disposal of federal and state narcotics prosecutors, who have opened investigations as interagency patrols and intelligence work continue.
