Overview
- On the Juliaca–La Rinconada corridor, armed, hooded assailants intercepted more than a dozen public transport vehicles, seized ignition keys, and robbed passengers of cash, phones, and, according to witnesses, gold.
- At least one passenger, identified as Alfredo Ramos Paye, was shot during the mass assault near Condorake and Pampilla, where victims reported being stranded in areas without phone coverage.
