Overview
- The attack occurred around 6:30 a.m. on the northbound A14 at km 402 near Ortona, where assailants blocked the carriageway, scattered nails, deployed smoke devices, and set vehicles on fire to hinder response.
- ANSA reported that shots were fired at the armored vehicle and an explosive was used to breach it, with a reported haul of roughly €400,000 that police are working to verify.
