Convicted Stalker Shot Dead by Police in London Home Invasion

Bryce Hodgson, previously under a restraining order, was armed with a crossbow and other weapons during the incident; Independent investigation underway.

Bryce Hodgson, a 30-year-old man, was shot dead by police in Southwark, London, after breaking into a house armed with a crossbow, a sword, a knife, and wearing body armor.
Hodgson was previously convicted of stalking and was under a five-year restraining order, which included a ban from entering the road where the incident took place.
Unarmed police officers initially responded to the scene but called for armed backup after Hodgson threatened them.
Hodgson was known to at least one of the occupants of the house, and it is believed he was attempting to harm the residents.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is conducting an independent investigation into the incident, as is standard for a fatal police shooting.
