Convicted Killer Admits to Murder and Dismemberment of Sarah Mayhew
Steven Sansom confessed to the brutal crime and disposing of the body parts across south London.
- Sarah Mayhew, 38, was last seen alive in Sutton, south-west London, on March 8.
- Body parts were discovered in Rowdown Fields, New Addington, on April 2, and later in the River Wandle.
- Steven Sansom, previously convicted of a 1999 murder, pleaded guilty to Mayhew's murder and perverting the course of justice.
- Co-defendant Gemma Watts, 49, also faces charges but has not yet entered pleas.
- Sansom denied three counts of possessing indecent images of children, which will lie on file.
