Converge Unveil 'Love Is Not Enough' and Title Track, Album Arrives February 13

The 35-year veterans preview a raw, guest‑free record mixed at God City with a two‑minute title track.

Overview

  • The release marks Converge’s 11th studio album and first proper full-length since 2017’s The Dusk In Us, following their 2021 collaboration Bloodmoon: I.
  • A press release says the album features no special guests or studio trickery, with guitarist Kurt Ballou recording and mixing at God City and engineering assistance from Zach Weeks.
  • Vocalist Jacob Bannon frames the title track as an examination of empathy in the modern world and a reckoning with who we are today.
  • The record will be issued via Deathwish/Epitaph, with Bannon also handling the artwork and design.
  • Converge will headline the Saddest Day Festival on December 13 at Roadrunner in Boston and are booked for Jera On Air in the Netherlands and Outbreak Fest in the UK in late June.
