Overview

  • The update is live on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S as version 1.30 (listed as 1.000.005 on some storefronts).
  • All players now have access to the mission Dr. Yoshimi Tokui’s Guided Imagery Experience featuring Hideo Kojima’s voice, previously limited to PS4 Digital Deluxe owners.
  • New display options include an Unlock Frame Rate toggle, VRR and 120Hz output support, HDR, and improved TAA, with frame-rate caps removed from Quality and Performance modes.
  • [PS5 Pro] adds PSSR upscaling plus improved screen-space reflections in Performance Mode and updated texture and shadow filtering.
  • Three former pre-order outfits—Astral Dive Suit, Tactical Response Gear, Urban Response Gear—are unlocked for everyone, and the update is free for all owners including PS Plus users.
