Construction Worker Killed by Falling Crane Load in Ingolstadt

A 55-year-old man died after being struck by materials that fell from a crane at a construction site in Bavaria.

The fatal accident occurred on Monday afternoon at a construction site on Stinnesstraße in Ingolstadt, Bavaria.
A crane was transporting materials when parts of its load fell approximately 20 meters to the ground, striking the worker.
The victim, a 55-year-old Romanian national residing in Ingolstadt, was critically injured and later died in the hospital.
Police and the local occupational safety authority are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The construction site is reportedly part of a project to build new residential apartments.
