Overview

  • Ground was broken in June by Maxim Construction under a $20 million contract for the new Horizon Health Network centre in Three Rivers.
  • The project remains on budget and on schedule for a February 2027 completion, several months later than the 2026 target originally announced.
  • Horizon Health Network has reversed planned changes to nursing roles, ensuring no existing staff positions will be affected by system transformation.
  • The centre’s design will house physicians, nurse practitioners, a dietitian, a social worker and other allied health professionals in a team-based primary care model.
  • Building adjacent to the current facility aims to maintain uninterrupted patient services throughout the construction period.
