Overview

  • Construction has begun at 333 Jefferson St., where the Taco Bell Cantina will occupy 3,000 square feet in Anchorage Square.
  • Franchise operator James Aman expects the venue to open between late November and early December 2025 pending final permitting and liquor license approval.
  • It will be San Francisco’s second Taco Bell Cantina after the chain’s SoMa outpost launched in 2015.
  • The upscale format will offer the standard taco and burrito menu alongside beer, wine and boozy slushies with extended late-night hours.
  • The project builds on BH Properties’ $65 million 2023 purchase of Anchorage Square and aims to bolster Fisherman’s Wharf’s post-pandemic retail revival.
