Marten and Gordon went off the grid in freezing winter weather, fearing authorities would take Victoria as they had with four other children.
Marten testified she considered cremating Victoria after her death but ultimately could not bring herself to do it.
The couple denies charges of manslaughter by gross negligence, perverting the course of justice, concealing the birth of a child, child cruelty, and causing or allowing the death of a child.
