  • CLAT 2026 will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM in a pen-and-paper format.
  • The registration window opens on August 1 and closes on October 31, 2025, on the Consortium’s official website.
  • Eligibility criteria remain unchanged with a minimum 45% score required for general category applicants and 40% for reserved categories at both UG and PG levels.
  • The exam serves as the national entrance test for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes across 24 participating National Law Universities.
  • A comprehensive notification detailing the syllabus, exam pattern, marking scheme, application fees and counselling process is expected to be released soon.
