Connie the Container Dog Rescued in Texas After Eight Days

Connie the container dog was rescued by the Coast Guard in Texas after being trapped in a shipping container for eight days without food or water.
The dog, now named Connie, was discovered during routine inspections at a Texas port, showing signs of hunger but was otherwise healthy and happy to see her rescuers.
Connie has been placed with Forever Changed Animal Rescue and is currently receiving treatment for heartworm. She will be available for adoption once she is back to full health.
