Police in Wallingford, Connecticut, are investigating a house fire that killed Justin Varnado, 19-year-old Karizmah Johnson, and their 8-month-old child Kylenn.
The fire, reported as occurring around 6 p.m. last Wednesday, is being treated as a criminal act, with no arrests made yet.
Justin Varnado was found with severe burns outside the home and later died in a hospital.
The victims were discovered in a second-floor apartment; one died at the scene, and another later in the hospital.
Despite the ongoing criminal investigation, authorities have assured there is no current threat to the public.
