Overview

  • The All India Congress Committee on August 16 announced 71 new district presidents in Madhya Pradesh under its Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan to rebuild grassroots organisation.
  • The list balanced caste and gender representation by including six sitting MLAs, three former ministers, four women and substantial OBC, SC, ST and minority appointments.
