Congress Mandates Federal Purchase of 100% American-Made Flags

The bill mandates that federal agencies purchase flags made entirely from U.S.-produced materials.
In 2017, the U.S. imported 10 million American flags, with the majority coming from China.
Current federal rules require only 50% of materials in U.S. flags to be American-made.
The legislation now awaits President Joe Biden's signature to become law.
