Concord Theatricals Launches High School Commissioned Musical Collection With Five Licensable Titles

Overview

  • Concord released a set of five new musicals designed for high school performers, all now available for licensing at ConcordTheatricals.com.
  • The titles are Dreamland; Ernxst, or the Importance of Being; Family Album: Teen Edition; Marian, or the True Tale of Robin Hood: The Musical; and True Crime Frankenstein.
  • Dreamland began the initiative with a 2019 International Thespian Festival reading and a 2020 premiere at Salina South High School, followed by more than 30 licensed productions in the U.S., U.K., and China.
  • True Crime Frankenstein premiered in a 2025 Penn State workshop, has pilot productions scheduled, and will appear at 54 Below in New York City on October 21, 2025.
  • Recorded resources include a Dreamland studio cast album, a forthcoming Ernxst studio recording, and a Ghostlight Records release of the full Family Album song cycle.
