‘Conclave’ and ‘Say Nothing’ Win Top Honors at 2025 USC Scripter Awards
The annual awards recognized outstanding adaptations in film and television, celebrating both screenwriters and original authors.
- Peter Straughan won for adapting the film ‘Conclave’ from Robert Harris’ novel, continuing its strong awards season performance with eight Oscar nominations, including Best Picture.
- Joshua Zetumer was honored for the episode ‘The People in the Dirt’ from the limited series ‘Say Nothing,’ based on Patrick Radden Keefe’s nonfiction book about The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
