Richmond, now a successful composer, was cast as Cupid, wearing a diaper, glitter, and no shirt, while awkwardly spinning on a rope during rehearsal.
Fey, upon seeing the monitor during rehearsal, jokingly but pointedly confronted O'Brien, saying, 'That's my husband, you f---er. What have you done to him?'
The sketch, which involved Richmond reading a list of sexually transmitted diseases, was later discussed during Fey's first appearance on O'Brien's show in 2001.
Fey and Richmond, who met in Chicago's improv scene, have been married since 2001 and have collaborated on numerous projects, including '30 Rock' and 'Mean Girls: The Musical.'
