Conan Exiles Enhanced Coming to PS5 With Free Upgrades

A UE5 rebuild that preserves players’ purchases signals Funcom’s push to modernize the game and sustain the franchise long term.

Overview

  • Funcom confirmed a PlayStation 5 version of Conan Exiles Enhanced due in early 2027 and said existing PS4 owners will receive the PS5 edition at no extra cost.
  • All previously bought DLC and in-game Bazaar purchases will carry over to the PS5 Enhanced edition so players do not have to rebuy owned content.
  • The Enhanced edition was rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 and uses Nanite and Lumen to deliver higher-fidelity visuals, improved lighting, a redesigned user interface, and performance and quality-of-life upgrades.
  • The Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah content will be presented together in the Enhanced edition, although Isle of Siptah remains a separately sold expansion and the PS5 version streamlines travel to the island for expansion owners.
  • Funcom also confirmed Aloft for PS5 in early 2027 and indicated console plans for Xbox Series X|S, framing these releases around continued support as Conan Exiles moves past its PC Enhanced launch earlier in 2026 and toward its milestone anniversary.
