- Officials outlined a national portfolio of 17 works totaling 122 million pesos that covers potable supply, sanitation, drainage and flood protection.
- Efraín Morales López said eight projects are already under way, three are in final contracting and six are finalizing technical and social processes.
- The initiative targets priority regions across states including Tamaulipas, Guanajuato, Veracruz, Sonora, Durango, Oaxaca, Guerrero, Campeche, Estado de México, Ciudad de México, San Luis Potosí and Tabasco.
- New starts are slated next week with the Campeche acuaférico, the Tunaldo dam in Durango to replace contaminated groundwater, and the Cangrejera dam aqueduct in Veracruz.
- The government also announced a three‑month administrative decree to regularize expired water concessions from October 2017 to March 2025, restoring access to credits and subsidies for producers and municipalities.
