- A RIP.ie notice confirms baby Ailbhe died on November 25 and her mother, Aoife Bird (née Oates), died on November 26 following a sudden illness.
- Aoife taught Spanish, Business and SEN at Ashbourne Community School, which described her as an esteemed colleague and offered support to students and staff.
- Repose will take place Sunday at her parents’ home in Ferrybank, Waterford, and Monday at her home in Longwood, Co Meath, with a funeral Mass Tuesday at 11am in St Brigid’s Church, Boardsmill, followed by burial in Clonee Cemetery, Longwood.
