Overview

• Mourners, many wearing bright colours and including local GAA club members, lined Drummeer Road and filled St Mary’s Church to honour the family at Wednesday’s removal service.
• A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday in Barefield, County Clare, followed by the joint burial of Vanessa Whyte and her children in Templemaley Cemetery.
• The PSNI is investigating the deaths as a suspected triple murder and attempted suicide and continues to appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage.
• Veterinary surgeon Vanessa Whyte and her children James (14) and Sara (13), pupils at Enniskillen Royal Grammar School, were shot at their Drummeer Road home on July 23.
• Northern Ireland’s First Minister Michelle O’Neill, former First Minister Arlene Foster and Sinn Féin MP Pat Cullen joined local leaders in paying their respects.
