Dye detailed his version of the events leading to his arrest on the 'Smoochie Town with Marco DelVecchio' podcast, expressing his anger at Cavallari for sharing the story.
Cavallari had recounted the incident on her 'Let's Be Honest' podcast in October, without naming Dye directly.
Dye confirmed he was the individual involved and said the incident was 'wildly humiliating'.
Dye also revealed he is now 36 days sober, describing himself as a 'high-functioning alcoholic' for 20 years.
