- Head coach Shane Steichen said Buckner will have neck surgery next week for a herniated disk and compressed nerve first suffered in Week 9 and re-aggravated in his return versus San Francisco.
- The team also placed tight end Drew Ogletree (neck) and wide receiver/returner Anthony Gould (foot) on injured reserve.
- Indianapolis activated wide receiver Ashton Dulin from IR, signed defensive tackle Chris Wormley to the 53-man roster, and elevated center Jimmy Morrissey and guard Josh Sills.
- The Colts removed questionable designations for Dulin, offensive tackle Bernhard Raimann and cornerback Sauce Gardner, making all three available against the Jaguars.
- Steichen said the team expects the 31-year-old Buckner to return in 2026; center Tanor Bortolini is out, guard Dalton Tucker was downgraded to out, and defensive end JT Tuimoloau will not play in Week 17.
