Head coach Shane Steichen said Monday that Braden Smith and Charvarius Ward Sr. are in the concussion protocol, with Smith also dealing with a neck injury.
Smith was ruled out with a concussion in the second quarter of Sunday's 36-19 loss to the Jaguars.
Ward reported symptoms Monday, marking his third time in the protocol this season after earlier absences following Week 1 and a pregame collision before Week 6 that led to an IR stint.
Ward previously described being knocked unconscious and experiencing prolonged dizziness and vomiting, and Steichen said he plans to speak with him this week after Ward acknowledged he wrestled with returning to football.
With Sauce Gardner working back from a Week 13 calf injury and having missed practice last week, both starting outside cornerbacks are set to appear on this week's injury report.
