Colsen Fire Pits Recalled After 19 Burn Injuries Reported

Nearly 90,000 units sold at major retailers are being pulled due to severe safety hazards, with no remedy available for consumers.

Colsen-branded tabletop fire pits have been recalled due to a risk of flame jetting and invisible alcohol flames causing serious burns.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has documented 31 incidents, including 19 injuries, with some victims requiring surgery or facing permanent disfigurement.
The fire pits, sold from January 2020 to July 2024, were available on platforms like Amazon, Walmart, TikTok, and Wayfair, among others.
Consumers are advised to stop using the fire pits immediately and dispose of them, as the company cannot offer refunds or replacements.
The recall affects seven models of fire pits, varying in shape and size, all designed to hold burning liquid alcohol in a concrete container.
