Colorado Springs Police Seek Help Identifying Person of Interest in Beacon Building Products Arson Probe

• CSPD released a photo of a man seen walking near the scene after the fire began and asked the public to help identify him.
• CSFD determined the Beacon Building Products fire was intentionally set, and CSPD says investigators are pursuing leads.
• The fire started on Dec. 13 around 2:40 p.m. at 3170 North Century Street, where a large outdoor pile of styrofoam and construction materials was burning.
• Crews knocked the two-alarm blaze down in about 45 minutes, prevented spread to nearby businesses, and reported no injuries.
