Colorado Grand Jury Indicts L.A. Man Accused of Multi-State Online Sex-Trafficking Scheme

Prosecutors are asking potential Colorado victims to contact the Denver DA’s human trafficking unit.

Overview

  • A statewide grand jury returned seven counts, including COCCA, two attempted pimping charges, two criminal impersonation counts, extortion, and tampering with a victim or witness.
  • Dominguez was arrested in California by CDCR fugitive agents and U.S. Marshals with assistance from Denver DA investigators, and he remains jailed there pending extradition.
  • The indictment says that beginning in early 2023 he contacted hundreds of women and girls across multiple states, including Colorado, Texas and New Mexico, with a link to a minor in Arizona.
  • Prosecutors allege he used VOIP numbers and aliases, posted sexual images without consent to create in-person sex ads, and extorted victims to remove the postings or comply.
  • Authorities say additional victims may exist and ask Colorado victims to contact Investigator Joe DeAngelo at 720-913-9108.
