• Arapahoe County jurors found James Craig guilty of first-degree murder, solicitation to commit murder, perjury and evidence tampering after a two-week trial.
• Prosecutors showed that Craig laced Angela Craig’s protein shakes with arsenic and tetrahydrozoline over ten days before administering a fatal cyanide injection in her hospital room.
• Investigators pieced together online searches for undetectable poisons, shipment records for potassium cyanide and arsenic, hospital surveillance footage and toxicology findings to build their case.
• Craig also attempted to cover up the killing by enlisting his daughter to produce a deepfake video, soliciting inmates to fabricate testimony and plotting to kill the lead detective.
