College Sports Commission Launches Anonymous Tip Line for NIL, Revenue-Sharing Violations

The RealResponse-run system adds a whistleblower channel to CSC’s enforcement of the House settlement rules.

Overview

  • Reports can be submitted by phone, text, WhatsApp, email or web form, with identities masked and the option for confidential follow-up.
  • The line is open to athletes, coaches, school personnel and the general public, with submissions routed directly to CSC staff for potential investigation.
  • CSC CEO Bryan Seeley said the reporting tool was planned from the outset and described anonymous reporting as a foundational compliance feature.
  • Under the Deloitte-built NIL Go platform, the CSC reviews third-party NIL deals of $600 or more and has approved nearly 6,100 deals totaling about $35.4 million after a September data correction.
  • Administrators and collectives have complained about slow processing and possible system workarounds, though the CSC says most deals clear quickly and the tip line will help surface violations and bypass attempts.
