Overview
- The 43-game college football bowl schedule was finalized on Saturday, with games to be played from Dec. 16 through Jan. 8.
- The College Football Playoff semifinals will feature No. 1 Michigan vs. No. 4 Alabama and No. 2 Washington vs. No. 3 Texas.
- The undefeated No. 5 Florida State Seminoles, who were snubbed from the College Football Playoff semifinals, will face the reigning champion No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs in the Capital One Orange Bowl.
- The first game of the bowl season will be Georgia Southern vs. Ohio in the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Dec. 16.
- The College Football Playoff National Championship Game will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston on Jan. 8.
