College Football Playoff Semifinals Set, FSU Snubbed Despite Undefeated Record

43-game bowl schedule to run from Dec. 16 through Jan. 8, culminating in National Championship Game in Houston.

The 43-game college football bowl schedule was finalized on Saturday, with games to be played from Dec. 16 through Jan. 8.
The College Football Playoff semifinals will feature No. 1 Michigan vs. No. 4 Alabama and No. 2 Washington vs. No. 3 Texas.
The undefeated No. 5 Florida State Seminoles, who were snubbed from the College Football Playoff semifinals, will face the reigning champion No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs in the Capital One Orange Bowl.
The first game of the bowl season will be Georgia Southern vs. Ohio in the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Dec. 16.
The College Football Playoff National Championship Game will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston on Jan. 8.
