Colleen Hoover's 'Verity' Set for Film Adaptation at Amazon MGM

The bestselling novel will be transformed into a movie, with scriptwriting underway by Hillary Seitz.

Colleen Hoover's romantic thriller 'Verity' is being developed into a film by Amazon MGM Studios.
The novel, which was self-published in 2018 and later acquired by Grand Central Publishing in 2021, has been a significant success, spending over 100 weeks on The New York Times Best Sellers list.
Scriptwriter Hillary Seitz, known for 'Insomnia' and 'The Unforgivable', is currently working on the screenplay.
Producers Nick Antosca and Alex Hedlund from Eat the Cat are set to produce the adaptation.
This marks another major Hollywood project for Hoover, whose novel 'It Ends With Us' is also being adapted into a film starring Blake Lively.
