Coldplay Opens Record 10-Night Wembley Run to Close ‘Music of the Spheres’ Tour

Planned Tube strikes now threaten travel for the finale after organisers set stage times and a full support lineup.

Overview

  • The Wembley residency runs August 22, 23, 26, 27, 30 and 31, then September 3, 4, 7 and 8, with the September 8 show ending the three-year tour.
  • Organisers list doors at 16:45 (16:15 Sundays) with Coldplay expected on at 20:20 (19:50 Sundays) and a support bill led by the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra with Gustavo Dudamel, plus Elyanna and rotating guests including Ayra Starr, Chloe Qisha, Beabadoobee and Tems.
  • Official tickets are largely sold out, though resale listings remain on sites such as viagogo, Vivid Seats and StubHub, with warnings that some resales may breach original terms and be invalid for entry.
  • Coldplay has pledged 10% of proceeds from the Wembley and Hull shows to Music Venue Trust, alongside a £1-per-ticket UK donation to support grassroots venues and emerging artists.
  • RMT action could disrupt the closing dates, with a 24-hour walkout at the Ruislip depot on September 5 and rolling Underground strikes from September 7 that exclude the Elizabeth line and London Overground.
